It has good corrosion resistance, improved mechanical performance, and is both versatile and easy to use. It has dents and rolled edges to offer superior holding force, while allowing for a quick disconnect. The butted-seam barrel is fully nylon insulated to offer moisture-seal protection. It withstands a maximum temperature of 221 degrees Fahrenheit (105 degrees Celsius) and its durable brass construction offers good conductivity and a tin-plated finish resists corrosion. 3M™ Scotchlok™ Female Disconnects are UL Recognized and CSA certified.
