3M™ Cold Shrink Foldback Splice Jacket Kits SJ-FB Series are a series of folded back, tubular rubber sleeves that provide a sealed jacket over cable splices installed on jacketed concentric neutral (JCN) and other types of jacketed power cable when combined with Scotch® Rubber Mastic Tape 2228. The jacketing tube is made from EPDM rubber that contains no chlorides or sulfurs. Features: 1-piece design for quick installation; Resists fungus, acids and alkalis; Suitable for use on direct burial, aerial and submersible applications; Cold shrink jacket made of EPDM rubber provides moisture resistance and durability; Includes Cold Shring sealing sleeve and Scotch 2228 rubber mastic tape; Water resistant - meets the water seal requirements of ANSI C119.1
