3M Scotch-Weld Structural Plastic Adhesive 8010 is an extremely strong two-part acrylic adhesive specially formulated to bond many low surface energy (LSE) plastics, including various grades of polypropylene, polyethylene, and thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs). Because of the strength of the product, it can be used to replace mechanical fasteners, screws, rivets, and spot welds in many applications and creates structural bonds without the need for special surface treatments like chemical etching, plasma, flame, corona treatment, or priming. It offers a mix ratio of 10:1 and provides up to 10 minutes of open working time, reaching handling strength in approximately 1 hour with a full cure in 24 hours at 73 F (23 C). 3M Scotch-Weld Structural Plastic Adhesive 8010 creates long-lasting bonds across the electronics, transportation, and construction industries and is available in a Duo-Pak (DP); when using this adhesive, or other Duo-Pak options, rely on 3M Applicators for convenient and accurate metering, mixing, and dispensing. Features: KEY SUBSTRATES: Joins a variety of low surface energy plastics, including many grades of Polypropylene, Polyethylene, and TPOs without special surface preparation; RECOMMENDED APPLICATIONS: Creates long-lasting bonds across the electronics, transportation, and construction industries; EXTREMELY STRONG: Can replace mechanical fasteners, screws, rivets, and spot welds in many applications; LESS PREP TIME: Made to function with little to no surface preparation; AMPLE OPPORTUNITY FOR REPOSITIONING: Offers up to 10 minutes for project readjustment; FULL CURE TIME: Fully cured in 48 hours at 73 ±F (23 ±C)
