Seamless and heat shrink insulated, the 3M™ Scotchlok™ Butt Connector is used to connect two single wires making an in-line splice. Its chamfered barrel ends provide fast easy wire insertion from both ends, and a built in wire stop ensures correct positioning. It must be crimped prior to applying heat to shrink the insulation. The seamless barrel is covered by an adhesive-lined polyolefin tubing to offer moisture-seal protection. It withstands a maximum temperature of 221 degrees Fahrenheit (105 degrees Celsius). Electrolytic copper construction offers good conductivity and a tin-plated finish resists corrosion. 3M™ Scotchlok™ Butt Connectors are UL Recognized, CSA certified, and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant. Features: Built-in wire stop for correct positioning; Made of electrolytic copper for good conductivity and has tin plating for corrosion resistance; Withstands a maximum temperature of 221 degrees F (105 degrees C)
