The Polaris ISPB2/0-6B Multi-Tap Direct Burial Single-Sided Entry Connector features 6 ports sized for 2/0 - 14 AWG wires. The body is made from aluminum alloy wrapped in a layer of high-dielectric strength rubber insulation. Each single-sided port is pre-loaded with an oxide inhibitor, with removable access plugs over the hex screws used to tighten the radial-tipped set screws. Rated for temporary submersion, wet or damp locations and direct burial applications. Installs with a hex key and torque wrench, without any tape or additional supplies, and comes packaged in a clear plastic bag with a mounting hole for hanging in retail displays. Meets or exceeds UL 486D and ANSI C119.1 specifications for use in wet or damp locations and designed for use in a wide range of temporary submersal or burial splicing applications. Certifications and Standards: cULus; UL 486D - Additional Notes: Dual Rated for use with copper and or aluminum cables. Not for use with fine-stranded, flexible cables
