PVC Coated Conduit Body, TB Type, Form 7, Size 1-1/2 Inch/41 Metric, Iron, Dark Gray Features: Ocal conduit bodies are shipped with a cover and encapsulated stainless steel screws.; The conduit body and cover are double coated with a nominal .002 in. blue urethane on both the interior and exterior, before PVC coating is applied; Covers are coated with a molded flange to seal the conduit body while the conduit body is molded with a flat surface on its opening to seal with the cover.; Bodies are designed with a flat back, allowing more cubic inch capacity. The flat back also keeps the body more stable during installation, requiring fewer conduit straps.; A minimum of .040 in. PVC coating is bonded to the exterior.; Ocal pressure-sealing sleeves on all threaded hubs. - Application: Provide taps for branch conduit runs; Provide for access to conductors for maintenance and future system changes; Make 90± bends in conduit runs; Provide openings for making splices and taps in conductors; Connect conduit sections; Act as pull outlets for conductors being installed - Notes: Dimensional values are of uncoated conduit bodies.; Available in dark gray, white and light blue.
