Self-grounded with brass contact to ensure device is grounded directly to metal boxes, eliminating the need to bond the device with the ground screw. Side pressure plates speed installation with secure push-in connection, enhanced wire snip access to split circuit break-off tab, and grounding strap hole designed for speed wrapping installation. Each outlet socket has two poles and a ground. The connection terminals of this outlet socket are push-in termination and screw terminal. Its matching mounting box can be recessed into the surface of the wall for flush mounting. This receptacle is tamper resistant with discrete black shutters. This socket outlet has a white frame. The self-grounding feature is a brass ground contact which provides ground retention to metal boxes that eliminates the need to use a ground screw.
