The XS range is an offer of inductive proximity sensors for the detection of metal objects up to 60mm without physical contact. The oscillator produces an alternating electromagnetic field that exits the detection area of the sensor. Any metallic object penetrating this field is then detected. This general purpose threaded cylindrical (M30) inductive proximity sensor is made of metal and it is non flush mountable. Its nominal sensing distance is 30mm, it supports 1 normally open PNP discrete output and it has a switching frequency of 500Hz. It works in a temperature range of -25.C and +70.C, it is dustproof, resistant to water jets (IP65), waterproof (IP67), resists high pressure and steam cleaning (IP69K). It is made of metal. It measures 74mm (length) x 30mm (diameter) and weighs 0.145kg. It is suitable for railway, mobile equipment, lifts and escalators, hoisting, material handling, machine tools, packaging, food and beverage industries, and robotics.
