PVC Coated Conduit Body, LB Shape, Form 8, Size 3 Inch/78 Metric, Iron, Dark Gray Features: Ocal pressure-sealing sleeves on all threaded hubs.; Bodies are designed with a flat back, allowing more cubic inch capacity. The flat back also keeps the body more stable during installation, requiring fewer conduit straps.; A minimum of .040 in. PVC coating is bonded to the exterior.; Ocal conduit bodies are shipped with a cover and encapsulated stainless steel screws.; The conduit body and cover are double coated with a nominal .002 in. blue urethane on both the interior and exterior, before PVC coating is applied - Certifications: CSA; UL - Application: Make 90± bends in conduit runs; Provide openings for making splices and taps in conductors; Provide for access to conductors for maintenance and future system changes; Act as pull outlets for conductors being installed; Connect conduit sections; Provide taps for branch conduit runs - Notes: Available in dark gray, white and light blue.
