Ensure Safety & Compliance at Your Facility
Electrical-insulating rubber gloves are crucial personal protective equipment. That’s why we offer a comprehensive Glove Safety Program to help protect your employees from arc flash injuries and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Why Test Rubber Insulated Gloves?
Rubber-insulated gloves, crafted from dielectric natural rubber, are vulnerable to wear and tear over time. Testing helps identify leakages and damage caused by:
- Tears, cuts, or punctures from sharp objects or rough handling
- Contact with oils, solvents, or chemicals
- Exposure to extreme temperatures, sunlight, or moisture
- Use beyond their recommended voltage class
How Does Our Glove Testing Program Work?
We’ve streamlined the testing process to ensure easy compliance and continuous safety:
- Color-Coded System: Easily track glove expiration with our color-coded system. Common colors include orange, yellow, red, black, and blue (color selection depends on availability).
- Testing Cycle: Alternate between two sets of gloves, sending one set for testing every 6 months to stay in compliance.
- Continuous Compliance: Our testing is done through a North American Independent Laboratories (NAIL) certified lab, ensuring all tests meet the latest American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards.
- Documentation: After testing, each glove receives a certification stamp, and a detailed test report is provided with every order.
We’re not just here to test your gloves—we’re here to support your safety strategy. Our Safety Specialists work with you to ensure your team has the equipment and knowledge to stay protected on the job.
